The Tigers will have 2 Eagle teams to contend with in 2010 year. The week vacated by Anderson Highland will be filled by the Eagles of the Bowman Academy. The Bowman Academy, a 2A football school is located in Gary Indiana some 193 miles away. Luckily this game scheduled for Friday Oct 1 at 6:30 is at home. They were 1-3-1 beating Bishop Knoll, losing to Hammond Clark, Churubusco and East Chicago Central. This is the only school from a smaller class Yorktown has played in several years.
